What Legion Was Here Is

Legion Was Here is a dark-comedy spy deduction game of roughly 3–4 hours. You play Legion, an agent who can change his appearance at will and takes jobs from everyone from the FBI and MI6 to ghosts and amusement-park mascots. Each contract asks you to impersonate a specific person without being caught, and every one of the six missions is the same deduction played against a different dossier.

What Legion Was Here Asks You To Do

  1. 1

    Phase one

    Read the dossier

Photographs, clippings, letters and small everyday items hold the target's appearance and history, with a few clues planted to mislead you.

  2. 2

    Phase two

    Rebuild the face

Choosing among more than 900 million combinations from the evidence rather than from preference.

  3. 3

    Phase three

    Survive the interview

Multiple-choice questions from the people who knew the target, answered from notes written on Legion's left hand, since the dossier is not reopened once you are inside.

All Legion Was Here Guides

Master the three phases

  • Dossier guideEvery document in the game is double sided. These are the backs that carry the answers, mission by mission.
  • Face creationThe ten numbered traits in the editor, plus the exact recipe for all six targets.
  • Interview questionsThe answers, which questions always play, and the pairs that swap phrasings between replays.

Missions and achievements

  • The Big Day missionYou are Ralf, Helga is questioning you and Alex walks in dressed as Roomzy. The eleven mascot names and every answer.
  • The final missionHow the campaign ends, and the two-poem clue chain behind Legion: Origins.
  • Hidden achievementsThe two rarest unlocks in the game: the cone-eared face you rebuild in the editor, and one that is a confirmed bug.

When something goes wrong

  • Black screen and purple language screenThe game renders through WebView2, so the usual high-performance GPU setting does nothing. The registry override that does work, plus the Linux steps.
  • Flashing lightsThe single checkbox that controls intense visual effects, and its one gotcha.
  • Save slots and progressWhy a failed run does not delete anything you finished.
About this guide and recent updates

Recent updates

Legion Was Here Big Day Mission: What It Is And What It UnlocksThe Legion Was Here Big Day mission is one of the six contracted jobs, and it carries the only pair of achievements that belongs to a single mission: **Jujuk In Love** for finishing it, and **Jujuk World Peace** for finishing it at 100 percent credibility. The name ties it to the Jujuk faction in the game's world, and mechanically it is the standard three-phase contract applied to its own dossier and its own cover identity.Legion Was Here Black Screen Fix And The Purple Language ScreenA Legion Was Here black screen is a WebView2 problem, not a WebGL one, which is why setting the game to the high-performance GPU changes nothing. Force WebView2 onto the dedicated card with one registry value. Linux and Steam Deck need Edge WebView2 in the Proton prefix first.Legion Was Here Dossier Guide: Reading The File Before The MissionA Legion Was Here dossier guide has one job: get you into the conversation able to answer it. Every mission starts with a dossier, and reading it well decides whether you pass the conversation afterwards. The file is a pack of separate documents rather than one page, most of its clues are indirect, and some are planted to be wrong — so sort the evidence by how many documents agree with it, then copy the result onto Legion's left hand before you leave the briefing room.Legion Was Here Face Creation: Matching A Face To The DossierLegion Was Here face creation is a deduction, not a cosmetic sandbox: after you finish reading a dossier, you enter the operating room and rebuild the target's face from evidence, and every slider you move is a claim about what that person actually looks like. Get the evidence right first and the face follows; move the sliders while you are still reading and you will lock in whatever you guessed.Legion Was Here Final Mission: What Ends The CampaignThere is no seventh mission waiting behind the last one. The Legion Was Here final mission question usually means two things — which job closes the game, and what counts as actually finishing it — and the answer to both is the same: the campaign is the six contracted missions, it closes with a credit sequence, and the campaign's own completion mark is **Legion Is Done**, which needs 100 percent credibility on every one of them.
